I was so excited to receive this set of Waffle Flower stamps for a challenge in Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft! I've been planting lots of succulents this summer, so I just had to use this potted succulent stamp to make a card. I had the colours of Mexico in my head when I put this one together, from the mosaic cardstock background, to the colours I used to watercolour the image. So. Much. Fun!
First post of the new year and this gem encrusted card seemed apropos! I guess the *trickiest* thing about making this card was designing the star template and then cutting out the window. The *best* part was sorting through my collection of gems and filling the star with sparkly pretties! I used core board to attach the star to the blue card but you could use mounting foam if you wish. Then it's simply a matter of adding a stamped sentiment, washi tape and a bow. Happy 2016 :)
