Treasure

Always love playing with new stamps for Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft's stampers' challenges :) This time it was a set of Stampers' Anonymous blueprint stamps designed by Tim Holtz. I chose the shell to work with first; it's such a pretty shape! This card is a bit of a pink extravaganza, from the ink to the patterned paper to the embellishments. You may have noticed I stamped the shell in bands of colour to achieve an ombre-effect. This is a great little technique for stamps with clean, simple lines. TIP - I like to mask the top and bottom thirds of the stamps with post-it notes before inking the middle. You'll get a nice straight edge this way. Remove the masks, carefully line up your pad with the inked section and ink away. You should now have a seamless transition of colour. Happy stamping :)

Stamp - Stampers Anonymous
Ink - Versa Magic pixie dust, Brilliance pearlescent orchid, Memento rhubarb stalk
Paper - Basic Grey
Card - Bazzill, cream
Embellishments - Kaisercraft rhinestones, Typo washi tape, Darkroom Door wordstrip, sequins, ribbon, tassel
