Feathers! This was a challenge in Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft a short while ago. I pulled out one of my trusty Stampington sets and got to work creating this card. The background is simply a couple of feathers stamped multiple times in three shades of metallic ink. The little bird was next, then the egg trio, and finally the sentiment. I find it hard to resist a bit of bling - understatement of the year! - so on went the rhinestones and pearls, along with a bundle of knotted ribbon. Happy crafting :)

Stamps - Stampington & Company
Ink - assorted Brilliance, assorted Versa MagicStazOn jet black

Everything You Do

It's Father's Day on Sunday so here's a card I made for Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft's Father's Day gallery. I found the perfect sentiment which I cut from a sheet of Kaisercraft paper, and it all grew from there, really. The washi tape, printed ribbon, and cute little mustache looked great together and complemented the subdued colour scheme. Because I didn't have a suitable stamp on hand - and I wanted a personal touch - I hand wrote 'Father's Day 2015' on a small kraft tag and attached it to the ribbon with a jump ring. Father's Day done!

Paper - Prima, Kaisercraft
Card - kraft
Embellishments - Typo washi tape, Typo resin mustache, ribbon, glass bead
Other - jump ring, pliers, red pencil, black pen
