One of the features in last month's Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft was ombre, which is all the rage in fashion right now. There are lots of ways to "cross-over" this trend in your cardmaking - paper, embellishments, cardstock, paint, you name it. After a bit of thinking (and experimenting!), I chose graduated shades of blue ink. I used a decent sized stamp and carefully tapped the inkpads onto the stamp in three distinct bands of colour. It worked a treat!
Stamp - Darkroom Door
Ink - Versa Magic Aegean blue, Versa Magic sea breeze, Brilliance sky blue
Paper - My Mind's Eye, pages from an old music book
Card - Bazzill
Embellishments - brads, ribbon, button, lace
Other - paper piercing tool, sewing needle, thread
