Fun

Have you seen last month's issue of Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft? It featured a wonderful gallery of chalkboard themed cards and I was very lucky to have my design printed in the mag. I used chalkboard two ways - as a patterned paper background and an embellishment. I made my own chalkboard bunting by painting shapes cut from balsa wood black and then stamping them with white letters. I was thrilled with the result and will definitely make them again! I finished my card with a stamped image of two young girls, ribbon bows, flowers, and a small black clip.

Stamp - Darkroom Door, alphabet of your choice
Ink - Brilliance moonlight white, Distress black soot
Paper - Bella!
Card - Bazzill
Embellishments - ribbon, small clip, mulberry paper flowers, metal button
Other - paintbrush, balsa wood, black acrylic paint, water mister, sandpaper
