I mentioned in a previous post that there are stamps in my collection I could never part with. No. Matter. What. These Zettiology alphabet stamps are among them. I bought them on eBay a few years ago and although I haven't used them much, I love them to bits. They're so fun and quirky! I made this card for a circus theme challenge in Somerset Studio. Inspiration struck, and I excavated the Zettiology stamps from my stash and inked them up, some for the first time. But hopefully not the last :-)
Father's Day is here and I'm late posting my card! If you caught the August issue of Cardmkaing, Stamping & Papercraft you might have seen it in the Father's Day card gallery. If not, here it is, better late than never :-) I wanted to create something really different this year - think vintage industrial collage. I started with a piece of thick core board that I covered with strips of mesh, then aluminium tape. I punched in a some rivets and then coated the whole thing with black paint, wiping off the excess with a damp cloth. The next stage was building the collage - super easy with a Darkroom Door photobooth image - and I made the banner out of scraps of paper and card, confetti stars, and alphabet stickers.
I hope this gives you a few ideas for your next man card!
