I have a big-time love affair with Sandra Evertson's stamps. They're so fun and full of whimsy. Here are two cards I've made using just a couple of stamps and a handful of simple embellishments. The first step in making these cards is the the painted backgrounds. I used the credit card technique which always produces interesting results! Perhaps the trickiest part of these cards is stamping a clear, crisp impression. Smudges and uninked patches are a pet hate of mine, especially when you only have a small amount of paper to work with. Aaarrrggghhh! The flowers and bunting are cut from leftover cardstock and assembled with buttons stitched in place. To finish, I found some twill in my stash that matched perfectly and stamped it with words that suited the whimsy theme.
