Studio Steps

Finally! It's been a while but I set aside some time to blog today. No. Matter. What. So, you might have seen these cards in Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft. I made them for the studio steps feature, which shows the step-by-step progression of a simple card to an intermediate one and then to an advanced one. I used some beautiful Darkroom Door stamps and had fun adding ribbon, brads and glitter as the cards developed. The final "advanced" stage involved paper tolling, gel pen doodling, and hand-dyed braid. I hope these cards give you a couple of ideas for some designs of your own :-)

Stamps - Darkroom Door
Ink - StazOn timber brown, Versa Magic Aegean blue, Versa Mark, Distress vintage photo
Card - Bazzill
Embellishments - Cristina Re pearl brads, Cristina Re diamond brads, ribbon, daisy chain
Other - water colour pencils, gold glitter glue, gold gel pen, decorative scissors

Time, Love, and Memories

Hi there, just a quick post before bed to share a little tag. As you can see from the materials list, not a lot is required. I made half-a-dozen of these tags in not time at all. It's a good excuse to use those quote and sentiment stamps lying idle on your stamp shelf (or stamp box). And you don't need a punch for the hearts; I traced around a chipboard shape and cut them out by hand. Cut more hearts than you need and stash them away for future projects. They come in handy! Happy Monday :-)

Stamp - Stampin' Up!
Ink - Brilliance graphite black
Paper - assorted patterns
Embellishments - ribbon
Other - sandpaper, hole punch
