Continuing the art doll theme, here's another card in the gardening set I posted below. I called this little fella "green thumb" because of his, well, green thumbs. Genius. Again, there's nothing too earth shattering technique wise - just a bit of water colouring and punching. The beautiful Tusan Rose stamp does all the work!
Time for an arty card, I think! This is one of four cards I made using Tuscan Rose art doll stamps. You can see another one here. I love art dolls and I love these stamps. Look at that face! Too sweet. And they're great to colour too; no solid black patches, just lightly etched designs. Fun! And I promise to share the other two cards. They're on my things-to-blog-about list :-)
Stamp - Tuscan Rose
Ink - StazOn jet black
Paper - Daisy D's
Card - Bazzill
Embellishments - Collections Victorian trim, Kaisercraft rhinestones
Other - LuminArte twinkling H2Os, watercolour pencils
Another birthday card crossed off the list! I cheated a little and resurrected a card from my (admittedly large) box of sad, neglected older cards. I didn't have to do too much to this one; I removed some outdated embellishments (remember the knitting fibre craze?!) and added a few others (the porcelain flowers). So I guess the moral of this story is to use what you have on hand, even if it needs a little sprucing to make it presentable. It'll save time - and keep you sane!
Stamp - Stamp-It
Ink - Brilliance graphite black
Paper - Basic Grey, Sandylion
Card - Canson
Embellishments - K&Company metal word tag, Prima flowers, ARTchix collage image, porcelain flowers, lace, braid
