Timeless, Vintage

Here's a pair of tags I put together with some odds and ends I've had lying around for ages. The images are by Sunset Creations and I bought them a few years ago at a craft fair; and most of the embellishments are left over from various TSQ design team kits. I always like to have a few tags on hand, they look great tied to presents and they're super quick to make. Well, sometimes :-)

Paper - Chatterbox, Basic Grey
Card - Bazzill
Embellishments - Collections chipboard bird, Kaisercraft wood flourish, Kaisercraft rhinestones, Kaisercraft brads, Sunset Creations clip art, Collections altered book words, ribbon

I've been playing with the glimmer mist again! It's wet and cold and miserable here today - perfect weather for making cards. I've used my cute little Paperbag Studios stamp from The Stamping Queen along with a few odds and ends lying around on my desk - chipboard, ribbon, brads, and a sweet rhinestone embellishment. I hope all you stampers out there are having an equally inky Sunday!

Card - Bazzill
Embellishments - Collections chipboard bird, Collections altered book word, Prima flower, vintage jewellery finding, gold brads, ribbon

Heart and Soul

I admit it. I've been lusting after this Cherry Pie stamp from The Stamping Queen for a while now and last week it arrived in my new design team kit. Happy days! I had another play with my Glimmer Mist - this time I sprayed a few coats on a piece of bright orange card before over stamping with the Cherry Pie image (see close-up). When you tilt the card in the light, the surface shimmers prettily :-)

Stamp - Cherry Pie
Ink - Distress
Paper/card - Darkroom Door, Canson Vivaldi
Embellishments - Darkroom Door wordstrips, crystal brad, chipboard musical note, black satin ribbon
Other - Tattered Angels glimmer mist, black permanent marker

The product theme over at The Stamping Queen this month is glimmer mist. I've never used this product before so it was lots of fun experimenting with my bottle of antique brass. For this card, I sprayed the mist over my background paper, which although difficult to see in the photos, gave it a lovely... well, glimmer, lol. Oh, and I think this stamp is my new favourite!

Ink - StazOn jet black
Paper - Stampington & Company
Card - Bazzill, Canson
Embellishments - Tim Holtz tilez, Kaisercraft rhinestones, Basic Grey rub-on, vintage acrylic leaf
