Well, here's my last sample for The Stamping Queen for January! I've used a gorgeous stamp by Paperbag Studio which I watercoloured and sponged with Distress Ink. The Collections curly bracket is coloured with blue and brown ink and coated with Papier Glass Finish, and the patterned paper is by Stampington. Other bits and bobs include Kaiser pearls, copper brads, and a scrap of cream lace.

Volume Three

Here's another sample I've made for The Stamping Queen, featuring the Paperbag Studio stamp I used on the Notes clipboard below. As soon as I saw this little girl I just knew she needed some shiny gold wings! I've used a few other goodies from TSQ too - starburst stamp from a Lost Aussie Designs unmounted plate and a Collections chipboard keyhole.

Australian Paper Crafts 73

I was so excited to receive my copy of Australian Paper Crafts yesterday! I have a set of Valentine's Day cards in this issue, featuring a very romantic Crafty Individuals stamp from TSQ :-) I'm afraid the cards haven't been returned yet, so I hope this scan of the article will suffice for now. Thanks for looking!

Family Means

Playing with a few more DT goodies from The Stamping Queen, and here is a quick tag using a Bumble Bee Crafts tag and stamps by Paperbag Studios and Lost Aussie Designs. The background is achieved simply by wetting the tag, scrunching it up, and rubbing Distress Ink over the creases. From my collection of odds and ends I added the gold ribbon, Prima flower, rhinestone and Kikki.K spiral clip.

Magnet fun!

In my DT pack for The Stamping Queen this month I received three cute Collections clipboards. Well, having already made the large clipboard below, I decided to turn these little guys into magnets! I began by removing the metal clips and covering the boards with patterned paper and collage images by Stamp-It and ARTchix. From my collection of odds and ends I added rhinestones and K&Company typewriter stickers. And to finish the magnets off, I painted several chipboard shapes - Collections curly bracket and arrow, and Scrap FX jigsaw piece - with black paint and several coats of Papier glass finish. Voila!

Wednesday Stamper - Keys

Here's a canvas panel I created for this week's Wednesday Stramper challenge - keys. I used *lots* of paint and "stuff" on this one, LOL, including a tape measure, poker chip, rhinestones, buttons, Opals embossing enamels, 7gypsies key, Pebbles Inc. and Nostalgiques alphabet stickers and Dymo tape. Stamps by Inkadinkado, PSX and Stampin' Up!

Here is one of the cards that matches the Grand Majestic set as seen in APC 72. I love playing with Oriental themes - the colours are so vibrant! Here I've used patterned paper by Basic Grey, bamboo punchies, domino and nailheads. Stamps, of course, are by Stampington & Company.

My first card of 2008 is for the Queen herself :-) I love this stamp by Catslife Press, it's so cute! I experimented with a different colour combination this time - black, mint green and yellow. I had fun with the embellishments too - lots of black ribbon and a bit of bling!

Stamp - Catslife Press (art doll)
Ink - Brilliance graphite black
Paper/card - Collections, Canson
Embellishments - Prima flowers, Kaisercraft rhinestones, Making Memories alphabet rub-ons, brads, ribbon, flower clip, glass leaf bead
Other - LuminArte twinkling H2Os
