For the love of Acey Deucy

If there's just one brand of rubber stamps I can't get enough of, it's Lynne Perrella's Acey Deucy. Lynne's designs are phenominally beautiful and oh-so arty. Fortunately for us devotees, Stampington & Company is re-releasing the Acey Deucy stamp line one collection at a time. Heaven!

Australian Paper Crafts 63

I was so very fortunate to have two projects published in the latest issue of Australian Paper Crafts magazine. The first project - vintage flair - was inspiried by a wedding invitation I designed for my BFF's wedding last December. I made the co-ordinating place and thank you cards to complete the set for submission. The green monochromatic melange card is one of my quirky, abstract attempts at an art doll. It was super fun to make.

Found objects

There's simply nothing better than foraging for unique objects for your artwork; that certain something which completes a piece. I'm lucky to have a sister who deals in vintage and antique jewellery, and she's given me lots of bits of broken jewellery and curious little charms and embellishments, just perfect for mixed-media and collages.
